MEDFIELD — Capital Budget Committee approves $25,000 purchase of used 100-foot ladder truck. The Fire Department's existing 75-foot ladder, dating to 1997, could not reach the roof of a recent house fire, requiring assistance from neighboring Medway. Chair Megan Sullivan and the committee unanimously approved acquisition of a used Westwood 2003 100-foot ladder truck, with funding from the Warrant Committee Reserve Fund or insurance fund.
The committee also unanimously approved a revised Tri-County Regional Vocational School capital assessment of $127,409 for FY2027, up from approximately $63,000, reflecting increased enrollment from 7 to 15 students.
