Zoning Board examines pool setback application at dual site visits
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of January 21, 2026
MEDFIELD — Zoning Board of Appeals conducted site visits to review a rear yard setback variance for a soaking pool at 32 Farm Street. Chair John J. McNicholas, Associate Members Kristine Barton and Jared Spinelli, and Land Use Director Maria De La Fuente inspected the property seeking approval for a 29.2 foot setback against a required 50 foot minimum.
The applicant and town peer reviewer Steve Bouley discussed stormwater mitigation concerns raised by adjacent Constantino residents, who reported 20 years of drainage problems following earlier garage construction. No vote was taken; the board indicated the applicant's engineer must revise plans to show a second drywell before further proceedings.
