Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of July 22, 2026

MEDFIELD — Zoning Board continues relief hearing on Bridlefield Lot 11 to August 26. Acting Chair Michael W. Whitcher, Associate Members Kristine Barton and Jared Gustafson, and Director of Land Use and Planning Maria De La Fuente heard arguments from Attorney Edward Cannon for applicant Black Rushin' Farm Realty Trust and Attorney Adam Kurth for the Bridlefield Homeowners Association.

The applicant seeks to amend prior ZBA decisions to release Lot 11 from open-space subdivision restrictions including aggregate bedroom limits, square footage caps, and frontage requirements, proposing instead to develop a single-family home with access via private easement over Allen Lane. The board voted unanimously to continue the hearing pending Planning Board review scheduled for August 3 and completion of legal documents addressing access and utility easements, waiver of Bridlefield Lane rights, and allocation of bedroom restrictions among remaining subdivision homeowners.
