Medfield Zoning Board approves special permit for enclosed addition at North Street. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously, 3-0, to grant a special permit to property owners Carla Romney and Stuart Beard for a 20-by-25-foot enclosed addition at 301 North Street, allowing the structure to encroach to 39 feet from the required 50-foot rear setback. With Chair John J.
McNicholas, members Kristine Barton and Jared Spinelli sitting, the Board found the property's unusual topography and distance from neighbors justified the relief. Proposed drainage mitigation will reduce lot coverage from 15.8 percent to 15.3 percent.
