Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of July 15, 2026
Medfield approves age-restricted affordable housing on Pound Street. The Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously granted a comprehensive permit to Rosebay at Medfield Limited Partnership for a 45-unit age-restricted rental development at 30 Pound Street. Of the units, nine are restricted to 30 percent of Area Median Income and 36 to 60 percent of AMI.
The project, on property leased from the Medfield Housing Authority's Tilden Village, clears the town's 10-percent subsidized-housing threshold, raising the town's affordable-housing percentage from approximately 9.59 percent to 10.6 percent. The board also approved a modification of the Housing Authority's existing 1974 comprehensive permit to exclude the Rosebay parcel.
