Zoning Board approves prior minutes, continues 40B Rosebay hearing to April 16
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 12, 2026
MEDFIELD — Zoning Board continues Rosebay affordable housing hearing to April 16 after detailed site and traffic review. Chair John J. McNicholas, joined by Michael W.
Whitcher and Kristine Barton as voting members, heard presentations on the 45-unit age-restricted development's 58-space parking plan, stormwater infrastructure, sight distances, and crash data from applicant engineers and peer reviewer Courtney Sudak of Tetra Tech. Four abutters and concerned residents testified on fence design, pedestrian pathway safety, detention basins near walkways, and traffic generation, prompting the Board to request that the applicant meet separately with directly affected property owners and coordinate with school, fire, police, and public works departments before the April 16 hearing, with a formal site visit planned for late May.
