Zoning Board Approves Avenue Restaurant Seasonal Expansion
Medfield Zoning Board approved outdoor expansion for Avenue Restaurant.
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of August 12, 2026
Medfield Zoning Board approved outdoor expansion for Avenue Restaurant. The board voted unanimously to modify the restaurant's 2015 special permit to authorize 34 seasonal outdoor seats from May 15 through October 20 and live acoustic music twice weekly between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., increasing total capacity from 125 to 159 seats. Applicant Jessica Foley, an owner of Avenue Restaurant LLC, confirmed the restaurant had operated informal outdoor seating since the COVID-19 period without noise complaints.
Board member Jared Spinelli called Avenue an important and successful downtown business. The board conditioned approval on Fire Department occupancy limits and also unanimously approved relocation of a seasonal sales shed at the adjacent Chapter 40B property.
