Warrant Committee · Meeting of January 27, 2026

MEDFIELD — Warrant Committee unanimously adopts revised FY2027 budget guidance, raising municipal growth from 1.3 to 1.8 percent. Departmental reviews revealed proposed cuts across the Department of Public Works (approximately $93,150), elimination of the unfilled HR Generalist position, and staffing reconfigurations at the Assessor and Treasurer/Collector offices. Town Administrator Kristine Trierweiler announced a 10.5 percent health insurance increase offset by a decision to exclude GLP-1 coverage for weight loss, generating approximately $240,000 in shared budget relief and freeing additional resources for municipal and school departmental guidance.
