MEDFIELD — Transfer Station and Recycling Committee approves prior minutes and receives program updates. Committee member Andrea Costello reported that Memorial School's composting program with Black Earth continues and will expand to Wheelock this fall; the fire extinguisher disposal PSA is in post-production for release by June 1; and Earth Day bag distribution reached 450 units, up 200 from the prior year. Lily Fayerweather reported Dividend Fund balance of $10,722.15, Revolving Fund balance of $35,824.08, and transfer station first-sticker usage of 3,495 households, or 77 percent of town population.
Annette Wells noted that foam collection's primary vendor may be closing and requested assistance locating alternatives.
