MEDFIELD — Transfer Station and Recycling Committee unanimously funds compost bins and Swap event. The committee approved $1,300 from the Dividends Fund to purchase at least 20 compost bins and $2,000 for a new Swap tent, with the annual event set to open April 29 and close September 30. The committee also allocated $200 from Dividends for its own booth at Medfield Day 2026 and $100 from the Revolving Fund for paint and stencil supplies for the "Name the Compactor" contest final vote in April.
Co-chair Andrea Costello reported that Memorial School switched to Agricycle for compost pickup after problems with Black Earth.
