MEDFIELD — Select Board approves traffic signal work and budget override letter. The five-member board voted unanimously to authorize Town Administrator Kristine Trierweiler to sign a $15,614 contract with Dagle Electric Construction Corporation for traffic signal improvements at Route 27 and West Street, addressing sightline concerns while awaiting a larger Mass DOT project. The Board also unanimously approved a joint letter from the School Committee, Warrant Committee, and Select Board regarding a two-year budget override structure with no additional override planned for the following year, and authorized natural gas pricing at $8.80 per dekatherm for town facilities, generating $0.33 per dekatherm in savings.
