MEDFIELD — Select Board approves $61,686.98 in downtown facade improvements to four businesses. The Board unanimously approved four projects from five applications under a state-funded economic development program, awarding $20,000 each to Zullo Gallery for masonry and signage restoration at 454-456A Main Street and Medfield Crossing for landscaping and awning replacement at 18 North Meadows Road; $2,101.98 to Be Charmed for exterior lighting at 70 North Street, Unit 1B; and $19,585 to 38 Park Street for stonework and landscaping. All votes were 3-0 unanimous.
The $120,000 program has $58,313.02 remaining for a second funding round, with completion deadline October 1.
