School Committee · Meeting of January 14, 2026

Medfield School Committee Policy Subcommittee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and advanced two policies to the full board. Dr. Jeffrey Marsden, Superintendent of Schools, presented Draft Policy JG, Middle School Pathway Exploration, which codifies state-required practices for vocational and career pathway access through Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School and Norfolk County Agricultural High School, with Blake Middle School Principal Nat Vaughn coordinating outreach.

The subcommittee also reviewed Policy ECAF, Security Cameras in Schools, which adds formal language covering school vehicles already equipped with cameras by the transportation contractor. Both policies are scheduled for second reading and potential vote at the School Committee's January 15 meeting.
