MEDFIELD --

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Medfield Youth Soccer's website now displays the banner "Fall Registration Closed - see you in the spring," a shift from recent weeks when the club listed fall registration as open for grades 1 and 2 with a waitlist in effect for grades 3-8. The club, a member of the Boston Area Youth Soccer League (BAYS), which it describes as having 56 member towns and being recognized by the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, also notes on its site that high-school-age teams are organized only in the spring, based on interest level.
