Medfield Youth Basketball and Hockey announce summer clinics and skills sessions open for registration.

MEDFIELD -- With school out and summer underway, two Medfield youth sports organizations are offering programs to keep players active and developing through the warmer months.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Medfield Youth Basketball Association (MYBA) is promoting several summer clinic options for local players. The Triple Threat Summer Clinic, run by past and current Medfield varsity boys basketball players, offers full-day and half-day sessions for rising 2nd- through 8th-grade boys at the Medfield High School outdoor courts. The first session runs June 22–24, with additional sessions July 27–29 and Aug. 24–26. Also starting June 22, the Medfield Girls' Youth FastBreak Summer Clinic runs through June 24 for girls entering grades 3–8. Led by former Medfield player and current Amherst College player Annie McCarthy, the camp focuses on fun and fundamentals, running 9 a.m.–noon at Medfield High School and Blake Middle School for $145 for the week. MYBA's website also lists additional third-party camps, including Coach Pete's Summer Camp and a Dexter Southfield Basketball Camp.

Medfield Youth Hockey (MYH) announced that free weekly Summer Skills Sessions are underway for 2026–2027 registered Mites through Peewees. Sessions are led by Coach Guden, run Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Norfolk rink, and continue through Aug. 26.

Medfield Soccer has opened fall 2026 player registration and is offering an early-bird discount. The club, a member of the Boston Area Youth Soccer League (BAYS), serves Medfield residents in grades 1–8. MYH also noted that board volunteers are being sought; interested community members are encouraged to reach out to MYBA President Danny Blood via email.
