Medfield School Committee backs DeDonato for finance operations director. The committee unanimously authorized Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Marsden to negotiate an employment contract with Kristyn DeDonato for the position vacated by Michael LaFrancesca's departure.
Dr. Marsden emphasized the specialized nature of the role and described Ms. DeDonato's extensive accounting background, five years of public school finance experience, and background in municipal and regional school districts as making her well-suited for the position.
Committee members noted her collaborative approach and strong technical qualifications fit Medfield's lean central office environment. She is currently working on an MSBA building project.
