Medfield Outreach Advisory Board unanimously elected Darcie Robertson as chair at its August meeting. The board voted August 24 to appoint Robertson, an educational consultant and yoga instructor. Board members include Kristen Lipschutz, law partner at Hastings, Jamieson, and Lipschutz Family Law, and Kathy Thompson, retired school nurse and Board of Health member.
Director Kathy McDonald oversees the department. The board reviewed fiscal 2027 goals including expansion of behavioral health services for older adults and increased community outreach to vulnerable populations. It approved the town's acceptance into the Community Naloxone Program, funded by Massachusetts, and discussed clinician Kim Norgren's acceptance into the Dual-Recovery Anonymous Certification training program.
