Medfield Outreach Advisory Board reviews 2025 annual report, plans service expansions

Medfield Outreach Advisory Board reviewed 2025 activities and discussed expansion of prevention and opioid abatement services. With Chair Kathleen Cahill absent, the board approved prior meeting minutes and reviewed data showing 40 individuals received counseling services in 2025 and more than 140 children and families received support through holiday giving and assistance programs. Staff reported expanding services including SPACE Treatment training for parents of anxious children, a health survey for seniors, mental health book clubs, and narcan training for college students.
Clinician Kim Norgren has been attending monthly Tummy Time programs at the library to provide support to postpartum parents identified as at-risk by the Opioid Abatement Fund.
