Medfield Library reports 100,000 visitors in 2025

Medfield Library Trustees approved June 20 and July 3 closures for 2026 at Tuesday's meeting. The board reported the library drew over 100,000 visitors in 2025, an increase of 12,000 from the prior year, with patrons saving an estimated $1.78 million through borrowing materials. Chair Jessica Razza noted programming successes including a sold-out 50-registrant embroidery series and a 35-teen slime party.
The Friends reported strong membership and book sales, with the collection reaching 47,489 items.
