MEDFIELD — Energy committee pulls specialized code warrant after town board rejections. The Medfield Energy Committee voted 6-2 on April 8 to withdraw a warrant article on specialized energy code, following dismissals by the warrant committee, permanent building committee, and select board, which raised concerns about implications for school building projects. The committee also voted unanimously to sponsor a Massachusetts Attorney General's energy bill review program.

Susan McPhee presented an update on a Green Communities grant application for a $408,000 air source heat pump installation on the auditorium, which includes a potential $202,000 grant and would reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 939 metric tons of carbon dioxide.
