MEDFIELD — Transfer Station and Recycling Committee reschedules September meeting, backs $100 SWAP maintenance funding. Chaired by Andrea Costello and Kimberly Schubert, the committee voted 5 to 1 with one abstention to move its September 14 meeting to August 31 at 9 a.m. on Zoom. Members unanimously approved $100 for poison ivy spray treatment at the SWAP reuse facility following recent rain that blocked drainage.
The committee is exploring a regional foam recycling hub with South Shore and Cape Cod municipalities rather than pursuing multi-town collection this fall.
