MEDFIELD — Charles River Health District unanimously approved its FY27 budget with adjustments to balance expenses. The four-town collaborative serving Dover, Medfield, Needham, and Sherborn adjusted agency administrative fees to the host town of Needham and incorporated the full cost of nursing hours contracted with Dover for Sherborn services. Shared Services Manager Kerry Dunnell noted the budget remained tight despite stable funding.
The board also heard that all public health nurses were CPR-certified instructors offering community classes, and Medfield's Board of Health had adopted a Nicotine Free Generation regulation effective January 1, 2027, affecting six current licenses in town.
