Board of Assessors reorganizes, approves 13 charitable exemptions.

MEDFIELD — The Medfield Board of Assessors reorganized at its April 14 meeting, unanimously electing Michael Rose as Chairman, William Gallagher as Clerk, and Kenneth L. Manning as Third Member. All 13 FY 2027 applications for property tax exemption under the charitable purposes statute--including Medfield Animal Shelter, Medfield Historical Society, and 11 other organizations and trusts--passed approval unanimously.
The Board then entered executive session to review motor vehicle abatements, real estate exemptions and abatements for FY 2026, and exemption summaries.
