Board of Assessors approves $100K overlay release and FY27 budget estimate.

Medfield Board of Assessors unanimously approved a $100,000 overlay release and set a $200,000 FY 2027 budget estimate. Chairman Kenneth L. Manning, Clerk Michael Rose, and Member William Gallagher voted unanimously to release reserves to the overlay surplus account and set the new fiscal-year allocation, following Principal Assessor Yvonne Remillard's presentation on budget constraints.
The Board also unanimously approved six Chapter 61A and 61B renewal applications and the FY 2026 actual real estate and personal property tax commitments. The next meeting is scheduled for February 24, 2026.
