Medfield Planning Board approves cross-town property division at 655 Elm Street. The board voted unanimously on an ANR plan to split the property, which straddles the Medfield-Walpole line, into two parcels. All proposed construction would occur in Walpole.
Land Use and Planning Director Maria De La Fuente noted that one resulting lot does not meet Medfield's 40,000-square-foot minimum area requirement, comprising only 32,000 square feet of upland area. The board also released a $363,000 surety bond for the Garrison Path subdivision after peer review engineer Beals and Thomas confirmed completion of construction work, retaining $5,000 pending easement recordation.
